AI phone answering for your business
AllDayDesk is an answering service for mortgage brokers that answers inbound calls around the clock using the business details you save. It greets callers, answers common questions from your saved information, captures lead details from new prospects, takes messages for anything it cannot answer, and can book appointments. You keep your existing business phone number by forwarding calls to AllDayDesk, and the exact forwarding steps depend on your phone provider. Calls, transcripts, summaries, and bookings show up in your dashboard, so you can follow up on new leads when you are free. Setup starts by entering your business or its website, checking the details it pulls in, hearing a personalized sample, and choosing how to connect your phone.

How it works
Choose your business or enter its website. Check the services, hours, and details callers need.
Listen to a sample for your business and check its answers. The sample does not create a real booking.
Follow the steps for your phone service. Set up booking availability and any call transfers you want to use.
Review calls, messages, and bookings in your dashboard.
Mortgage brokers spend much of the day in client meetings, on lender calls, or working through paperwork. When a new prospect calls during a closing conversation, or an evening question comes in after hours, the call often goes to voicemail. A prospect who reaches a voicemail box may simply move on to the next broker on their list, and you have no way to know they called unless they leave a message.
An answering service fills that gap. AllDayDesk answers inbound calls whenever they come in, so a first-time caller hears a professional greeting instead of a voicemail box. The service does not replace your judgment on loans or rates; it makes sure the caller is greeted, their details are captured, and you get a clear summary to follow up on.
It is worth being honest about what this is: an AI receptionist, not a human one. It handles greetings, common questions, message taking, and booking. Conversations that need your licensed expertise become messages for you, not improvised answers.
A new prospect calls your existing number. The call forwards to AllDayDesk, which greets the caller by your business name and asks how it can help. If the caller wants to know whether you handle FHA loans or where your office is, the receptionist answers from the business details you saved. If the caller is a new lead, it collects their name, callback number, and a short description of what they need, then offers to book a consultation.
An existing client calls with a question about their file. The receptionist takes a message with the client's name, number, and question, and you see the summary in your dashboard. It does not discuss loan terms, eligibility decisions, or anything else that needs your professional judgment.
A caller asks something the service does not know, like a current rate. Rather than guessing, it takes a message so you can respond with accurate information. Existing appointment changes are passed to you as requests; the service does not confirm changes to booked appointments on its own.
When a caller wants to schedule a consultation, the receptionist can book the appointment directly. By default, new appointments go on the built-in AllDayDesk dashboard calendar, which works once you have configured your services and availability. If you prefer, you can connect Google Calendar in Settings after connecting and authorizing your Google account, and bookings will use that calendar instead.
Google Calendar is the only external calendar connection supported. Other calendar tools or mortgage-industry scheduling software are not connected, so if you run your pipeline in a separate system, you would manage appointments in AllDayDesk's calendar or Google Calendar and keep your other tooling separate.
If a caller wants to move an existing appointment, the receptionist records the request and passes it to you. You confirm or adjust the change yourself, so your calendar always reflects decisions you have made.
You do not need a new phone number. You keep your public business number and forward calls to AllDayDesk. The exact steps depend on your phone provider, so setup asks which service you use and gives you matching instructions.
As an example of how provider steps differ: on Verizon mobile, all-call forwarding is activated by dialing *72 plus the 10-digit destination, and *73 turns it off. Other providers use portals instead of codes, such as Spectrum Business Voice, where you sign in, open Voice settings for your number, and enable forwarding with a chosen destination. Because services and products vary, always follow the instructions for your specific provider and product, and test with a real call afterward.
One known limit: Google Voice does not support forwarding calls from a Google Voice number to an automated system, so a Google Voice number is not a compatible forwarding source. Many standard landline and mobile services do support forwarding, but support and steps differ by carrier and product, so confirm what your own line allows before relying on it.

Mortgage conversations involve sensitive financial information. AllDayDesk is designed to keep its role narrow: it greets callers, answers questions from your saved business details, captures contact details, takes messages, and books appointments. It does not collect sensitive financial details like Social Security numbers, income figures, account numbers, or payment information, and it does not give loan advice.
The receptionist is a front desk, not a licensed professional. Anything requiring your expertise, your judgment, or regulated handling becomes a message for you, so you keep control of every substantive decision in the loan process.
Also note that around-the-clock availability describes when the service answers, not a guarantee that every single call connects. Network issues, forwarding problems, or transfer configurations can affect individual calls, which is why reviewing your dashboard regularly matters.
Setup starts by entering your business name or website. AllDayDesk pulls in your public business details, and you check them for accuracy, since these are what the receptionist uses to answer questions. You then hear a personalized sample of how your receptionist would sound.
Next you choose phone setup. You keep your existing number by forwarding calls, and the instructions depend on your phone provider. Once calls are flowing, you can configure services and availability so the built-in calendar can book consultations, and set transfer destinations and rules if you want some calls passed to you.
From then on, calls, transcripts, summaries, and bookings appear in your dashboard. The sample you hear during setup creates no real booking, so you can explore freely before anything goes live.

Yes, as an optional connection. By default bookings use the built-in AllDayDesk dashboard calendar once you have configured services and availability. You can connect Google Calendar in Settings after connecting and authorizing your account. No other external calendars are supported.
Yes, once you configure a transfer destination and rules. Keep in mind that neither pickup nor an immediate response is guaranteed, so configure transfers with that in mind and check your dashboard for messages and summaries.
The service is designed not to collect sensitive financial details in the first place; it captures names, callback numbers, and what the caller needs, and takes messages for anything else. AllDayDesk does not offer compliance certifications, so handle regulated information through your own professional processes.
It takes a message. Unknown answers, prices, or appointment requests are never guessed; they are recorded and passed to you with a transcript and summary in your dashboard.
Enter your business, check the details it pulls in, and listen to a personalized sample of how AllDayDesk would answer your calls around the clock. No real bookings happen during the sample, so you can try it with nothing at stake.
