AI phone answering for your business
AllDayDesk is a real estate answering service powered by an AI receptionist, not human operators. It answers your business phone around the clock, answers common questions from the business details you save, captures each caller's name and callback number, and takes a message whenever it cannot answer something. You keep your existing number by forwarding calls, and calls, transcripts, summaries and bookings are visible in your dashboard.

How it works
Choose your business or enter its website. Check the services, hours, and details callers need.
Listen to a sample for your business and check its answers. The sample does not create a real booking.
Follow the steps for your phone service. Set up booking availability and any call transfers you want to use.
Review calls, messages, and bookings in your dashboard.
Agents spend long stretches away from the phone: showings, inspections, closings, driving between properties. AllDayDesk answers your business line during those hours, using the information you save about your business, such as your service area, the types of properties you handle, and your appointment availability.
When a caller asks something the saved details do not cover, such as a specific commission question or the status of a particular offer, the receptionist takes a message so you can follow up yourself. It does not guess, quote prices it was not given, or make promises on your behalf.
This is an AI receptionist, not a human answering service. There are no live operators reading from a script. It works from what you save and takes messages for anything outside it, so compare quotes from both kinds of service before deciding.
Real estate calls fall into a few common groups. Buyer and seller inquiries ask about your services, your area, or how to get started. Scheduling calls want a showing, a listing consultation, or a walkthrough. Existing clients call with questions about a specific transaction. And some callers are other agents or vendors.
For general inquiries and scheduling, the receptionist answers from your saved details and can book new appointments on your calendar. For anything tied to a specific transaction, an offer, a contract, or a negotiation, it captures the caller's details and the reason for the call and takes a message. Those conversations need you, and the service is built to route them to you rather than improvise.
Changes to appointments that already exist are treated as requests for you to approve, not confirmed changes. You see the request in your dashboard and decide.
You do not need a new phone number. You keep your public number and forward calls to AllDayDesk. The exact steps depend on your phone provider, so setup starts by choosing your phone service and following its instructions.
As an example of a verified carrier procedure: on Verizon mobile, dial *72 plus the 10-digit destination to forward all calls, *71 plus the destination for unanswered calls, and *73 to turn forwarding off. Other carriers use different codes or web portals, and some services have limits, so check the guide for your specific provider before activating anything.
One important limit: Google Voice does not support forwarding its calls to an automated system, so a Google Voice number is not a suitable line to forward to AllDayDesk.

Setup starts by choosing your business or entering its website, so the service can pull in your public business details. You then check those details, correct anything wrong, and add what is missing, such as your service area and the kinds of appointments you offer.
Next, you hear a personalized sample of the receptionist answering for your business. The sample is a preview only and creates no real booking. If you like what you hear, you choose your phone setup option and follow the forwarding instructions for your carrier.
Before booking works, configure your services and availability in the dashboard. If you use Google Calendar, you can optionally connect and authorize your account in Settings. After that, calls, transcripts, summaries and bookings are visible in your dashboard for review.
Human answering services employ real people who answer your calls. They can handle unusual conversations with more judgment. For example, Ruby, a live virtual receptionist company, advertises plans starting at $245 per month as of October 2026, and Smith.ai uses per-call pricing for its human receptionists. Starting price alone is not a full comparison, since included allowances, overage rates, hours and contract terms all matter.
AllDayDesk is an AI receptionist. It answers consistently from your saved details, works around the clock, and shows you transcripts in your dashboard. It does not replace your judgment on negotiations, offers, or client relationships, and it will not attempt conversations that belong to a licensed agent. Around-the-clock availability describes when the service can answer, not a guarantee that every call connects.
A balanced way to decide: if your calls are mostly scheduling, general questions, and lead capture, an AI receptionist can cover them. Compare actual quotes either way, since included minutes, overage rates and contract terms vary. If you need nuanced human conversation on every call, a staffed service fits better.

Calls handled by AllDayDesk leave a record in your dashboard: the call itself, a transcript, a summary, and any booking that was made. You can review messages between showings and return calls in priority order.
New appointments go on the built-in AllDayDesk calendar by default, or on your connected Google Calendar if you have set that up. Requests to change existing appointments appear for your approval, so nothing on your calendar moves without you.

No. You keep your public number and forward calls to AllDayDesk. The forwarding steps depend on your phone carrier, and setup includes choosing your phone service so you get the right instructions.
No. AllDayDesk is an AI receptionist. It answers calls, uses your saved business details, books appointments, and takes messages. It is not staffed by human operators.
Only if the answer is in your saved business details. For anything transaction-specific, it captures the caller's name, number and reason for calling and takes a message for you.
New appointments use the built-in AllDayDesk calendar by default once you have configured services and availability. Google Calendar is an optional connection you set up and authorize in Settings.
It takes a message with the caller's details and the reason for the call, so you can respond yourself. It does not guess or invent answers.
Yes, if you configure a transfer destination and rules. Transfers depend on that configuration, and neither pickup nor an immediate response is guaranteed.
Enter your business or website, review your details, and listen to a personalized sample of how AllDayDesk would answer your calls. The sample creates no real booking, so you can try it before you change anything on your phone.
